Select the carton (box) that is larger than the picture you are going to pack. Prepare the box. First of all tape the bottom of the box to make even more secure. Fill the bottom with about 2 or 3 inch of wadded old newspapers. This will provide cushioning to the picture from the bottom side.

Place the picture in the frame and wrap it using bubble wraps and then into a layer of blank newsprint paper. Then secure the wrapping using good quality packaging tape. Slide the wrapped picture / frame into the opening of the box carefully. Seal the end securely with heavy duty packaging tape.

Clearly mark/label the box on sides and top as well. Mark it with tag – FRAGILE and its location; kitchen, living room, bedroom, dining hall, etc. While loading the box on the truck then inform the movers that these boxes have fragile items. Keep the boxes on side; not on flat position. Place these boxes on top position always. Make sure no any boxes are placed on them.
